Blush & Gold
This magnificent historical club on the shores of Lake Minnetonka served as the venue for a lovely summer wedding reception. Our gold pieces worked so well with the ivory and gold colors of the Club!
The entry featured a hand-painted welcome sign on canvas, created to match the couple's stationery, in our 24 x 36" gilded frame on an iron easel. Three lanterns on the floor called extra attention to the sign. From there, guests entered "Peacock Alley" where the place card tables (later to become the dessert buffet) were set up. A dramatic mirrored frame--this time containing a dimensional monogram of the couple's initials--took center stage, leaned up against the wall. Our gold mercury urns holding showy floral bouquets framed the monogram on either side. Custom napkins made to match the monogram were placed on the bar and dessert tables.
In the ballroom, the huge mirrored risers from the church were placed on the head table, and seven other large floral arrangements on matching risers were positioned around the ballroom to fill the tall vertical space. The remaining guest tables held either gold compotes with flowers, or mirrored bases with gold candle holders. All tables had a generous sprinkling of votives from our huge collection. When the lights were dimmed...sheer magic!
Late-night pizzas made by the Lafayette chef and sweet treats provided by Buttercream cakes made for a delicious ending that all of the die-hard dancing guests enjoyed!
