Mariah and Tanner had planned a big wedding and reception to take place in 2020, but then the pandemic hit. They decided to have a small ceremony at that time, and then a bigger celebration in 2021. Tanner, a member of the National Guard, wasn't sure if he would be deployed at the time of the vow renewal. Thankfully, he was safely stateside and all went as planned!
Elegant simplicity with pops of color flowed throughout the day. The bride's stunning choice of color for the bridesmaids warmed up the chilly November evening. White flowers and lanterns adorned the lovely and now-iconic Hutton House fireplace, where they renewed their vows. Guests enjoyed cocktail hour in the ballroom area while Mariah and Tanner captured some "golden hour" pictures in the inner courtyard.
This was our first time working with the caterer Fork & Flair, and oh, my -- what a tremendous team! Their food proved to be as stellar as their customer service. We can't wait to work with them again soon! We had a joyful reunion with Sofia from Alma Films (could there be a sweeter videographer out there?!? Don't think so!). And Skylar Rae was a new talent who knocked the photography game right out of the park.
Guests danced the night away with one of the best DJs I've ever met, Dylan from Midwest Sound. He was calm, cool and collected, and SO much fun! Our team enjoyed watching him groove to the music almost as enthusiastically as the guests did!
The bride's mother, yet another one of my AMAZING mothers of the bride, was a joy to work with. We all combined efforts to make the day a success--and every planner knows that teamwork is the key to a successful wedding. Let us listen to your plans and help iron out any wrinkles that might come along. Solving problems with a smile is what it's all about!
